Day 6

Drabble: 6. "Please stay..."

Genre: Romance/Angst

A/N: Welcome to Day 6! It looks like I've been doing a lot of humor lately haha! But finally, I'm bringing the angst! I love writing angst, I write it all the time, I just don't publish it because I'm scared of it haha! Don't ask me why I hope you enjoy this one~! I don't own them, sadly.

"Please stay..." Masaki's hand pulled Sho's before he could leave the bed.


"Aiba... You're awake." Sho had tried to get up as quietly as possible, but Aiba couldn't let the weight that shifted in the mattress escape.


"Don't go..." The man under the covers pleaded, his grip tightening on Sho's wrist, relentlessly.


"Aiba... I can't stay."


"Then don't leave me." There was a clear desperation in his voice, enough to make Sho's chest clench. He could see Masaki's damp eyes under the dark, finding it impossible to move.


"Let me fall asleep. You can leave once I'm sleeping, but don't make me watch you leave."


Sho looked at Masaki hesitantly. He too wished he could please him, but he knew it was just impossible. Regardless, he couldn't find the courage to say no to him.


Sho slipped under the covers once again, allowing Masaki to huddle on his chest, his head nestling in the crook of his neck.


Sho wrapped his arms around him, his hand caressed Masaki's hair as he leaned down to kiss his head.


"Sleep... I can't stay for long."


Masaki said nothing, not allowing himself to close his eyes, afraid Sho would be gone by the time he opened them again.

"Sho..." his low voice called him under the night. "You need to break up with him..."

Sho's eyes were lost in the ceiling, feeling Aiba's breathing come in sync with his.


"I know..."


"I don't think I can stand it for much longer..." Masaki's voice was close to breaking, the tip of his lips brushing on Sho's skin.


"I need you..." Whispered Masaki, unaware that each of his words was another dagger to Sho. "It kills me to see you with him... Holding his hand, having him so close where he is able to kiss you and feel you... I hate it."


"Masaki..."


"Please..." Aiba's tears streamed freely, meeting Sho's skin. "Promise me... you'll be with me." Aiba hated saying these words out loud. He felt selfish and weak, but no matter how much he tried to hide it, Sho was his everything. It meant nothing to live without him.


"Promise me... You don't love him."


Sho moved away from him, trying to look for Masaki's face, sobbing with reddened eyes.


"Masaki... look at me." Sho held his face closely, trying to sooth his tears.


"I don't want anyone else other than you. I would never let you go."


"I need you Sho.... But I need you to be mine."


"I know. Let me do things right." Sho brushed off Masaki's tears, making them cease.


Masaki nodded for him, forcing a smile, assuring him he would wait for him. He would do anything to have him, until the day he could call him his own.


Sho embraced Masaki and it wasn't long until Masaki's breathing soothed and drifted off.

Sho waited an hour that only seemed like minutes before he moved away, leaving the mattress undisturbed as the younger still rested close to the warmth his body had left behind.


Sho dressed himself quietly, moving out of the room, but once he looked back at the bed he was pained to leave Aiba in the loneliness of the room.


Masaki could only hear the door closing before more tears streamed from his closed eyes.




A/N: End! This was very fun to write! Yesterday one of our members wrote from the same drabble and I was afraid they may have writen the same situation (because they love angst as well) But luckily, it turned out to be the other way around, so this is the opposite of their drabble and we didn't even plan this. It was very fun to compare haha! Anyway, I hope you liked it! I appreciate your commments! Tomorrow... hmm... you could say I am going back to my roots in tomorrow's drabble, so I would be very greatful to hear your opinions ^^ see ya' then!

I LOVVVEEEE THIS! SO HEART BREAKING SO GOOD I'M CRYING. I love these kind of angst, I need more :( and yeah it's almost same as mine but the other way around, that was close LOL.
